CAPELLA 2 TECHNOLOGIES
The CAPELLA 2 system benefits from acoustic expertise and research conducted on the Limited Edition Esprit 40th Anniversary range, combined with cutting-edge technologies for exceptional sound reproduction.

A blend of technologies
THE HEART OF THE SYSTEM
Equipped with a 1.5 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor that ensures smooth and responsive operation of the CAPELLA 2 system.
It centralises all wired audio and video sources thanks to a comprehensive range of connections including HDMI-ARC, optical, RCA and two USB ports.
In terms of wireless connectivity, it is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi compatible for streaming music in up to high resolution.
Thanks to WiSA technology, the Stereo Hub 2 then transmits the signal wirelessly to the speakers, for great freedom of use on a daily basis.

A new standard of performance
ULTRA-POWERFUL AMPLIFIER
CAPELLA 2 has a power output of 100W per speaker. Each driver has its own amplification circuit and digital converter, ensuring optimal and precise signal control. A digital signal processor (DSP) continuously optimises the characteristics of the drivers while preserving them. The system thus achieves exceptional performance for a system of this size.
The speaker filtering is performed digitally, ensuring perfect linearisation of the frequency response. This control over the system's behaviour offers a real advantage over a conventional system consisting of passive speakers and an external amplifier. The bass is deeper and more controlled, the soundstage is clearer and more balanced, and the vocals are crystal clear and detailed.

Natural voices
100% NATURAL CELLULOSE MEDIUM
The midwoofer is handled by a 165mm driver using a proprietary 100% natural cellulose pulp cone, without any treatment, a true hallmark of the manufacturer. Since its creation, TRIANGLE has favoured paper cone drivers for their colouration-free reproduction, particularly in the vocal range.
This driver consists of a ventilated aluminium chassis and a half-roll suspension composed of a combination of foam and treated rubber. This allows for natural reproduction of voices and instruments with beautiful openness, while delivering generous and dynamic bass.

Magnesium Alloy Dome
TZ2530MG HORN TWEETER
CAPELLA 2 speakers use horn tweeters, which have been the brand's signature feature for many years, providing consistent sound reproduction throughout the listening area.
Research conducted in recent years has also made it possible to optimise the phasing piece at the horn outlet to provide better sound regulation outside the tweeter's axis.
Featuring a new 25mm magnesium/aluminium alloy dome, this high-efficiency tweeter delivers harmonious reproduction of the highest notes without any harshness.

Curved cabinetry
Front face diffraction
Aside from being an aesthetic choice, the rounded edge of the cabinetry serves a practical purpose. The front panel supporting the speaker naturally diffracts sound waves, which distorts the audio signal sent to the listener.
The rubber rings used around the speakers in the CAPELLA 2 loudspeakers have an angular geometric structure that helps to reduce these edge effects.
Add to this the rounded shape of the cabinet edges, which deflect reflected waves outwards, and the disturbances sent back to the listener are reduced and the overall clarity of the listening experience is improved.

Reduction of unwanted vibrations
DVAS
Extensive research has been conducted to reduce internal vibration behaviour in cabinetry. CAPELLA 2 speakers feature TRIANGLE's proprietary DVAS (*Driver Vibration Absorption System), a high-density openwork reinforcement that abuts the driver via a damping material, thereby stiffening the driver/cabinet assembly.
A high-density EVA foam seal, placed at the end of each internal reinforcement, ensures contact between the speaker motor and the reinforcement. This greatly attenuates the vibrations of the transducer generated by the movement of the membrane, with only a small amount of residual vibration being transmitted to the cabinet.
The DVAS system reinforces this notion of neutrality and clarity when listening by significantly reducing cabinet vibrations. The result is a more accurate listening experience without any colouration or structural noise.

Downstream vent
BASS REFLEX TOWARDS THE GROUND
The CAPELLA 2 speakers are raised on an aluminium base that allows air to flow freely around the bass reflex port. This design ensures even distribution of low frequencies around the port while delivering smoother midrange frequencies at the front.
The internal architecture of the speakers has been optimised around this port, which is flared at both ends. This effectively reduces airflow noise and lowers the harmonic distortion rate.
This technical choice also makes it easier to position the speaker, whether in an open space or near a wall, without compromising the performance of the CAPELLA 2 speakers.
